Fun Ride Comes to an End

It’s been a pretty hectic week here in the racing world. The rumors finally started playing out this weekend and were officially confirmed on Monday, Red Bull is pulling the plug on its NASCAR effort. Details of the actual demise are still hazy and it’s likely some outside investor will purchase the team (hopefully not to just liquidate), it’s just not clear when this will all happen! I guess all good rides have to come to an end!

Are you thinking about becoming a stay-at-home dad if Red Bull is not picked up? It might be time to think about finding an old bombed out Chevy Nova or El Camino and have a go at restoring it. Start now, and you ought to be done in time for your first’s 16th birthday! But seriously, what are the chances of you not having a job in the racing industry after this season?

Oh, no! You predicted this while we were in Toronto. I’m sure you’re happy this comes as you are buying a new home (in the Lincoln Park of Charlotte!) and with a little one on the way.
